Proper Yacht is centrally located on "B" dock in Belmont Harbor, at the Chicago Sailing Club. We offer water- and land-based marine services to boats in the Montrose, Diversey and Belmont harbors.
Our service program is designed to maximize your sailing time and minimize repair and maintenance time. Arriving by boat or truck, Proper Yacht's crew can be working on your boat in the time you might otherwise be waiting for others to return your phone call.
We provide marine services that get your vessel operational - quickly and cost-effectively. We will either complete the work expediently or direct you to the best course of action. We will also deliver your vessel to other service facilities when that is prescribed. Our goal is to be your central source of boating enjoyment.
Hourly rates are $80 per hour weekdays. Overtime charges apply to evenings and weekends. |

Continuing Maintenance
Wouldn't it be great to have a boat valet to handle the many chores associated with making your boat ready for guests or for sea? We will design a maintenance plan suited to the needs of busy boaters. This service includes a power wash of the hull's exterior, chamois wipe-down and engine fluid check.
