Hi, my name is John Ahlers, I'm a current student at DePaul and I'm interested to take my sailing experience growing up to the great city of Chicago. I've sailed about 4-5 summers crewing for my skipper on X-boat, C-scow and MC boats.

I'm 6'0'' 145 pounds and would love to get involved in competitive racing in Chicago. My skipper and I have won a few regattas over the years and placed very well in several others. Please let me know if anyone is in need of an active crew.

I am more interested in racing than non competitive events and looking for a team to begin practicing with or be a backup for when I'm needed. My schedule is flexible weekends and evenings.
