Parvenu is a classic designed, custom Valiant 47 cutter impeccably maintained. She is an ideal charter vessel for those with discriminating tastes. You'll be quite comfortable aboard Parvenu with her spacious decks and cockpit, beautifully appointed salon and elegant state rooms.

At 47 feet, with over a thousand square feet of sail area, Parvenu cruises through the seas with grace, strength and stability. Designed for the single-handed sailor, Parvenu is a breeze to handle with self-tailing winches, state-of-the-art navigational electronics, autopilot and roller furling main and jib. Her 70hp diesel engine can motor you quickly to your destination, lest the winds become unfavorable.

Below deck, the living is easy. The joinerwork is beautifully maintained, high-gloss teakwood. The air-conditioned salon is comfort-fitted with ultrasuede seating. The full-service galley includes a four-burner stove, oven, refrigeration, toaster, coffeemaker and microwave, plus an on-deck grill. A television, VCR and CD changer with both cockpit and salon speakers surround you with all the creature comforts of home.

For daysailing and cocktail cruising, Parvenu provides you and your guests with plenty of room to roam around. Parvenu provides ample seating for your dining party either in the salon or on deck underneath the stars.

For overnight charters, Parvenu will accommodate two couples in her two state rooms with the bathroom ensuite. Two additional full-size bunks are located in the salon to comfortably accommodate two additional couples or children.

There are separate showers in each stateroom as well as an outdoor shower (a real treat) with hot and cold running water. The 11kw generator is capable of providing ample power for air conditioning, microwave, television and hair dryer (though your captain might mock you).

For extended cruising trips, Parvenu comes complete with water toys. The 14-foot dinghy is equipped with a 25hp outboard ready to deliver her crew safely ashore or pull a water-skier on two skis. Tow rope, skis, wet suits and swim fins are provided, as are fishing equipment and beach toys.
