The Next Steps in your Sailing Journey
You’ve taken our Basic and Intermediate courses and are now wondering, what’s next? From this point the sky (or water) is the limit.
Our Spinnaker/Advanced Sailing 201 course trains you to master sailing with the most challenging sail on the boat, the spinnaker. In addition, course sessions cover the intricacies of sail trim and helmsmanship for racing situations. In a few short sessions you will be a certified sailing master. Sign up for the course today.
Ready to race to Mackinac? You should probably take our Racing Tactics 221 course in preparation. Covering crew positions, racing rules and strategy, this course prepares you for the world of sailboat racing. We are so serious about this course that its final is a Wednesday night race. More information and class schedules can be found here.
Interested in cruising as opposed or in addition to racing? Our Basic Auxiliary Qualification 301 is the course for you. Training you to daysail on one of our larger J/30’s or the T10, this course feeds your big boat envy. It’s the first step to earning US SAILING’s cruising certification, unlocking bareboat chartering in exotic locales across the world. With just a few sessions each season spaces are limited so plan to sign up soon!
