Below are some testimonials
form the last few years.
Hey guys,
I was down in Chicago this past weekend from London,
Ontario Canada. We took out a J22 with Dave (what a great instructor).
We had the best time, high winds, fog and accidental
jibes.... I loved
every minute of it. Kudos to the sailing club for an
excellent outfit, and of course to Dave for the nerves
of steel.Cheers,Thano. 2004
Ahoy! We haven't met yet, but my husband
and I am taking Basic Sailing now on afternoon weekends.
I am thoroughly impressed with our instructor Libby's
ability to explain
rigging, maneuvers, etc. *operationally*, giving a functional
sense of the element she is describing. I am also amazed
at her adaptability to Lake Michigan and the J22s, boats
she apparently has not before sailed. Lastly, I am grateful
to you and your staff for offering such high quality instruction,
even through brand new employees! . I am really looking
forward to our make-up
sailing lesson this evening
at 6:00pm!

HI Guys, I wanted to say thanks for keeping
my desire to sail "afloat". I sailed with you on the J30
in October. It was my only sail of the year. Since getting
my basic keelboat certification 3 years ago, my sailing
has been sporadic, as I do not own a boat.
As the new year approaches, I am seriously thinking about
getting a boat. My challenge is where to keep it, as I
live in Rockford, 90 miles
away. I love to sail Chicago, but getting there when I
want to is the challenge....
Anyway, I enjoy the newsletter, and wanted you to know
that your encouragement and safe instruction out there
has given me confidence that I haven't "lost it".
Godspeed.

Dear Christian...Thank you for your patience and knowledge.
It has truly been a positive experience and has opened many more possibilities
for me. It's a good life...Mallory and Joe. July 2004.
Dear David, Thank you so much for your participation in our Lake Michigan
Hunter Sailing Association Rendezvous. Your presentation was a sure
hit! - Infact, a home run. Your obvious love of sailing plus your engaging
speaking style have a winning combination. Many thanks for a job well
done... Linda Wiggins August 2004.
Shanes and Tim... Thanks so much to both of you for the quality of
experience you helped provide. Besides being present professionally,
providing your services with skill, you were both present personally,
and were an important part of the success of the experience as a whole...

Because they are such efficient boats to handle, J/30s are equally at home ghosting in a zephyr or rollicking in a breeze. |
