The Hunter 326 is a handsome vessel and a joy to operate. And like all modern vessels, it performs best when the captain fully understands its systems and procedures. To insure your safety and enjoyment Chicago Sailing requires that each qualifying* captain be formally checked-out on the vessel.

This formal check-out procedure involves dockside briefing on electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems, as well as engine and sail handling procedures. You will then complete a docking and sail handling demonstration on the water, with our staff member.

This formal check-out takes approximately 90 minute and can be scheduled as part of your initial rental time or taken in a scheduled group check-out.

Check-out fee $35 per person.

*Must document prior operational experience on vessels of similar size.
